let me tell you

mine!

My name is Geneava. I am a 24 year old, female photographer located in Peoria, IL. I've been mastering my technique for almost a decade, however my business is still only a couple years old! Even though my brand is still fresh, I pride myself on my professionalism and relatability when dealing with clients. I am not a mother yet, but I hope to become one in the future and absolutely LOVE capturing the genuine, candid moments between parents and their children.

In my spare time, I volunteer as an Affiliated Photographer and Digital Retouch Artist for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. I also will find myself filling my time setting up creative concept sessions with local models! My frenchie loves to snuggle with me while I edit, and if you come to my studio for your session you're more then welcome to say hi.

Throughout the past four years, I have been grateful enough to build up my studio where it is now. Located in Peoria, IL, my studio offers your choice of backdrop, several props, directed wind, and professional lighting. You will also have easy access to a bathroom/changing area, be provided with beverages when you arrive, and have the option of steaming your clothing before the start of our session!

Fun Facts about Geneava

I have lived in Central Illinois for almost my entire life! Aside from the almost 3 years I lived in Oceanside, California, I grew up in Washington, IL and currently live in Peoria, IL.

While working as a photographer, I am also about to start nursing school! Eventually, I would love to work as a nurse on the NICU floor because I seriously cannot get enough of those tiny toes, long lashes, and little baby coos.

I had the pleasure of being able to photograph the Dancing with the Stars tour in 2024! Even though it still feels surreal, I was actually one of the photographers lucky enough to photograph the tour!
