Available for In-studio & On-location sessions. Can’t choose just one backdrop color? No problem! Once we’re happy with the first set, I’ll swap in your next chosen color while you take a short break. If you’ve added an outfit change, this is the perfect time to switch! This will add 10-15 minutes to your session to ensure everything is ready for the next look.
Disposable Camera ($50)

Incorporate a disposable camera into your session to capture nostalgic, vintage moments through your own lens. I'll have the photos developed and deliver them to you, either by hand or through the mail, so you can cherish those raw, timeless memories by your own hand.
I. Before the session
Before your couples photography session, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to help me get to know you both a little better. It’s a great way for me to understand your connection, your story, and your vision for the session. This will allow me to personalize the experience and create meaningful, authentic images that reflect who you are together. I’d love to learn about what brings you joy as a couple, whether that’s quiet, tender moments or playful, spontaneous energy. My goal is to get to know you before we even meet, so I can provide the best possible experience and images that truly represent your relationship. I’ll also help you choose the perfect outfits and outdoor location. If we’ve planned an in-home session, I may ask you to send photos of the rooms in your home. This helps me identify where the natural light is best. If there’s a particular space that holds meaning for you, like the living room where you spend quiet mornings or a cozy corner you both love, send that along too. The more details I have, the more beautifully we can tell your story! To reserve your date and get officially booked on my schedule, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking.
II. During the session
During our session, I love to keep things relaxed and natural. My approach is more lifestyle or documentary in style, which means I’ll gently guide you into a pose—maybe with your arms wrapped around each other, sharing a quiet moment. Then I’ll move around you, capturing all the best angles while you simply enjoy being together. Rather than stiff, posed shots, I focus on the genuine connection between you. If you feel like wandering, laughing, or just taking a moment to breathe each other in, we’ll follow that energy. I want the session to feel like a special time set aside just for the two of you. I’ll make sure to get a few classic shots of you both smiling at the camera, but most of our time will be about capturing the way you naturally interact! Those subtle glances, inside jokes, or the way you hold hands without even thinking about it are what make your relationship special. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable, so your love can come through in every image.
III. After the session
Premium sessions:
Once your session has concluded, I will edit and deliver 5-10 sneak peek images within 72 hours of your session. I like to deliver sneak peeks since, many times, having a professional photoshoot done is a big deal! Your final gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your scheduled session. You will be able to view, download, print, and share your images as you'd like!
Standard sessions:
I will edit and deliver 3-5 sneak peek images within 72 hours of your session. Within 4 to 6 weeks you will receive a proof gallery containing a fully edited, watermarked gallery. From this gallery, you can select 30 images that are included with the price of your package, but will also have the option to purchase extra images, or the full gallery at an additional cost. Once you have selected the images you'd like, and paid for any additional images you may want, I will send you a final gallery without a watermark where you will be able to view download, print, and share your images as you'd like!

FAQ
Are travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
All sessions receive no additional travel expenses within 45 minutes of Peoria, IL. If you have decided to book one of my Premium packages you can enjoy up to 90 minutes of comped travel expenses. Beyond those limits, my travel fee is $50 per hour of travel.
If you're looking to book in Chicago, there are specific days I have available with no travel fee.
Can I propose during our couples session?
I absolutely love documenting proposals! If you are hoping to propose during our session, let's book a proposal session! These sessions still include posed portraits, but offer an experience tailored specifically to proposing & engagement.
Will you help with posing?
Yes, I do help with posing for all of my sessions! Several of my clients say they feel awkward in front of the camera, and some have never done a photoshoot in the past. This isn't a problem! I will help guide you through every pose by giving you prompts and demonstrating the pose myself.
What is the best time for a session?
For outdoor sessions, lighting is usually best in the late afternoon or early evening hours right before sunset. That golden hour lighting is beautiful, as long as the weather permits. I also love an overcast sky, so no matter what, we can make it work! I completely understand that golden hour timing isn't practical for all families. After you inquire, we will discuss these details and find a time that works best for your family!
Where should we have our session?
Your couples session can take place outdoors, in-home, in my studio, or maybe you want to rent a studio you like. If you aren't sure where you'd like to pick as your location, I am more than happy to help. During our conversations prior to booking, I will chat with you about some of my favorite locations in the area we could plan your session for!
What happens in the event of rain or other extreme weather?
If your session is scheduled for outdoors, I'll be watching the weather forecast the day of our session. If it looks like it will rain, I will be in touch via text or email and make the decision whether or not to postpone. I like to wait as late as possible to actually postpone because stormy skies right after or before rain are absolutely gorgeous, so if it’s not raining, we will be out there shooting! If there is other extreme weather coming during your sessions, such as tornados or high air pollution, we will discuss our options and reschedule if needed. In the case of any postponement, I will try to accommodate your session as soon as my schedule allows.
Can we bring our pet to the session?
Pets are more than welcome to join us at outdoor or in-home sessions. I recommend keeping pups on a leash to ensure they don't get overwhelmed with the situation. I also highly recommend bringing someone along to watch after the pup while I grab some shots of you and your partner alone.
