Can’t choose just one location or backdrop color? No problem! For outdoor sessions, once we've captured the magic at one location, we'll move on to the next! Your session time will be extended to allow for travel, ensuring every moment is beautifully documented without the rush. As for in studio sessions, once we’re happy with the first set, I’ll swap in your next chosen color while you take a short break. If you’ve added an outfit change, this is the perfect time to switch! This will add 10-15 minutes to your session to ensure everything is ready for the next look.

Disposable Camera ($50)

Incorporate a disposable camera into your maternity session to capture nostalgic, vintage moments through your own lens. I'll have the photos developed and deliver them to you, either by hand or through the mail, so you can cherish those raw, timeless memories by your own hand.
I. Before the session
Before your maternity photography session, I will send you a questionnaire so I can learn a little bit about you and your growing family. The questionnaire will also give me a good idea of what your ideas and preferences for the session are. This way I can tailor the experience specifically to your needs. If your other children will be joining us, I’d love to get to know their personalities; what makes their eyes light up, what brings them joy and makes them laugh. If your daughter never stops dancing, we can weave movement into your maternity session. If your son loves snuggles, we’ll embrace those affectionate moments and document them on camera. My goal is to know everything about you, and, if they're coming along, your family as well to provide you with the best service possible! I'll also help you with picking outfits and the best location for outdoor sessions, if needed. To reserve your date and get officially booked on my schedule, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required at the time of signing the contract.
II. During the session
During our session, when children are involved, I love to follow their lead. If their curiosity pulls them towards a hidden nook we can wander that way, or if they insist on being in dad's arms, let them! With or without children, my sessions tend to be pretty relaxed. I typically take a more lifestyle or documentary style approach to maternity sessions. So I'll guide you into a position, likely wrapping your arms around the baby you've been waiting for, and I will have you stay there for a minute while I snap away moving around you to get all those fancy angles. If children are involved, I will have your babies run up and wrap their arms around your belly, greeting their sibling that's not quite Earth-side. If the kid's decide to wander off, it's not a big deal! I want you to relax during your session. Whenever you or your family is in a nice position, and settled down, I'll make sure to get those good smiling at the camera shots!
III. After the session
Premium sessions:
Once your session has concluded, I will edit and deliver 5-10 sneak peek images within 72 hours of your session. I like to deliver sneak peeks since, many times, having a professional photoshoot done is a big deal! Your final gallery will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your scheduled session. You will be able to view, download, print, and share your images as you'd like!
Standard sessions:
I will edit and deliver 3-5 sneak peek images within 72 hours of your session. Within 4 to 6 weeks you will receive a proof gallery containing a fully edited, watermarked gallery. From this gallery, you can select 35 images that are included with the price of your package, but will also have the option to purchase extra images, or the full gallery at an additional cost. Once you have selected the images you'd like, and paid for any additional images you may want, I will send you a final gallery without a watermark where you will be able to view download, print, and share your images as you'd like!
Discounted Concepts
Every now & then, I get inspired to shoot something completely new. These concept sessions are styled to fit a specific vision, so i'm offering them at a discounted rate! Receive $100 off my premium package by selecting a concept.
These sessions will be removed/replaced once a concept has been booked! These concepts are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so whoever finishes the booking process first, will receive the discounted session.
Some sessions are only available during a specific time of year. These sessions also may require specific clothing or travel to specific locations that are not included in the discounted rate

A fun, lighthearted in-home maternity session for mamas halfway through their pregnancy! We’ll capture the sweet, messy magic of this in-between stage with flour-dusted counters, baking ingredients, and our favorite half-baked ice cream flavor. This session will be cozy, candid, and full of personality.

FAQ
When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?
Bellies grow at different paces and pregnancy feels different for each woman, so maternity sessions can happen anytime in the second or third trimester. Most women say they like the way they look and feel between 26-34 weeks. Some moms begin to feel a bit swollen and fatigued in the later weeks of the third trimester, so I tend to recommend this sweet spot. However, it’s never too late to document this special time as long as baby is still on the inside!
Do you offer any deals if I book a maternity & a newborn session with you?
Yes! I offer a Bump to Birth Collection that will include both a Premium Maternity session and a Premium Newborn session. If you are interested in documenting your baby's entire journey, I also have a Collection for that! Check out the Collections tab under "Pricing and Packages" to find both the Bump to Birth & My Baby's Story Collections and see if either of those fit your needs! Both Collections also take off a considerable amount of money!
Can my partner and/or children be included in the session?
Absolutely! Including loved ones in your maternity session is a beautiful way to represent your family growing.
Where should I have my session?
Your maternity session can take place outdoors, in home, in my studio, or maybe you'd prefer to rent a studio you like. If you aren't sure where you'd like to pick as your location, I am more than happy to help. During my consultation/questionnaire prior to booking I can help you decide & chat with you about some of my favorite locations in the area we could plan your maternity session for!
What should I bring with me to my maternity session?
You don't have to bring anything, but my past clients have brought sonograms, ultrasound images, an outfit or two for the new baby, a pair of shoes or booties, and any other little item you may have dedicated to your new family member! I had one family with an ornament made for baby, so really anything you'd like to include I am more than happy to work into your keepsake images.
What if I start to feel ill during our scheduled session?
Don't stress too much, as someone who has dealt with her fair share of nausea and lightheadedness, I know several tricks to help with immediate relief. During Maternity sessions I have a tendency to continuously ask if you're feeling okay, or if you need anything, I just ask that you be completely honest! If you begin to feel ill, we can take a break while you attempt to recover. If you're still feeling unwell and would wish to reschedule that can surely be done! If you have purchased a makeup artist, hair stylist, or flower add-on, it will have to be repurchased as they cannot be "saved" until next time.
